Our Beliefs

GOD
GOD IS THE CREATOR AND RULER OF THE UNIVERSE. HE HAS ETERNALLY EXISTED IN THREE PERSONALITIES REVEALED TO US AS: THE FATHER, THE SON, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT. THESE THREE ARE CO-EQUAL AND ARE ONE GOD.Genesis 1:1, 26-27 and 3:22, Psalm 90:2, Matthew 28:19, 1 Peter 1:2 2, Corinthians 13:14 1, John 5:7)JESUS
JESUS CHRIST IS THE SON OF GOD. HE IS CO-EQUAL WITH THE FATHER. JESUS LIVED A SINLESS HUMAN LIFE, AND OFFERED HIMSELF AS THE PERFECT SACRIFICE FOR THE SINS OF ALL MEN BY DYING ON A CROSS. HE AROSE FROM THE DEAD AFTER THREE DAYS TO DEMONSTRATE HIS POWER OVER SIN AND DEATH. THE HOLY SPIRIT IS EQUAL WITH THE FATHER AND THE SON AS GOD. HE IS PRESENT IN THE WORLD TO MAKE MEN AWARE OF THEIR NEED FOR JESUS CHRIST. HE ALSO LIVES IN EVERY CHRISTIAN FROM THE MOMENT OF SALVATION. HE PROVIDES THE CHRISTIAN WITH POWER FOR LIVING, UNDERSTANDING OF SPIRITUAL TRUTH, AND GUIDANCE IN DOING WHAT IS RIGHT. THE CHRISTIAN SEEKS TO LIVE UNDER HIS CONTROL DAILY. WE BELIEVE THAT THE BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT IS AN ENDOWMENT OF POWER AVAILABLE TO EVERY BELIEVER SUBSEQUENT TO CONVERSION. MAN IS MADE IN THE SPIRITUAL IMAGE OF GOD, TO BE LIKE HIM IN CHARACTER. HE IS THE SUPREME OBJECT OF GOD’S CREATION. ALTHOUGH MAN HAS TREMENDOUS POTENTIAL FOR GOOD, HE IS MARRED BY AN ATTITUDE OF DISOBEDIENCE CALLED “SIN”. THIS ATTITUDE SEPARATES MAN FROM GOD. WE BELIEVE THAT GOD HAS A DESTINY FOR EACH BELIEVER AND THAT HIS PURPOSE FOR US INVOLVES THE ESTABLISHING OF HIS KINGDOM IN OUR LIVES.(Genesis 1:27, Psalm 8:3-6, Isaiah 53:6a, Romans 3:23, Isaiah 59:1-2, John 15:16, Ephesians 2:10)SALVATION
SALVATION IS A GIFT FROM GOD TO MAN. MAN CAN NEVER MAKE UP FOR HIS SIN BY SELF-IMPROVEMENT OR GOOD WORKS. ONLY BY TRUSTING IN JESUS CHRIST AS GOD’S OFFER OF FORGIVENESS CAN MAN BE SAVED FROM SIN’S PENALTY. ETERNAL LIFE BEGINS THE MOMENT ONE RECEIVES JESUS CHRIST INTO HIS LIFE BY CONFESSION OF FAITH IN HIS LIFE, DEATH, AND RESURRECTION..(Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 14:6, 1:12, Titus 3:5, Galatians 3:26, Romans 5:1, Romans 10:9-10)ETERNITY

THE BIBLE IS GOD’S WORD TO ALL MEN. IT WAS WRITTEN BY HUMAN AUTHORS, UNDER THE SUPERNATURAL GUIDANCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. IT IS THE SUPREME SOURCE OF TRUTH FOR CHRISTIAN BELIEFS AND LIVING. BECAUSE IT IS INSPIRED BY GOD, IT IS TRUTH WITHOUT ANY MIXTURE OF ERROR, RELEVANT TO CONTEMPORARY SOCIETY, AND CARRIES POWER TO IMPART FAITH IN LIFE.(2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Psalm 119:105, 160, Psalm 19:7-11, Proverbs 30:5, Hebrews 4:12, Romans 10:17)

Our History

Conquerors Church’s rich history began in 1976 with its establishmentarians Elder W C Moore and Missionary Lucille Moore. Founded in Detroit, in a “storefront” styled church with Its original name :New Revelation COGIC. As a result of Elder W. C. and Missionary Moore being stalwart Bible teachers, the young church experienced phenomenal growth. Families joined, both young and old alike, reaching to 300 in weekly attendance. The 1980’s were extremely prosperous as the church acquired nearby real estate properties almost totally a full city block on both sides of the street. During the early 1990s New Revelation made its greatest move when they renovated their building thereby constructing a three hundred seat cathedral styled facility. In 1999 the church experienced its greatest difficulty in the homegoing/death of Pastor, Elder W C Moore. But with everything God does, he raises up Elder Moore’s son, Elder Samuel Moore and charges him with the command to “take these people and move forward”
The young Elder Samuel Moore& his wife LaShawn Moore became the Pastors of the then Greater New Revelation COGIC. Being led by the Lord,Elder Sam immediately initiated a vision to renovate the facility and launch new ministries. This vision campaign with warranted almost a $250k investment which included a new platform , updated kitchen and restrooms, a computer center, new television equipment and more. In the early 2000’s proved/showed the vision to be of God as a membership growth resurged. Also, In the mid 2000s Elder Sam Moore was led of the Lord and granted permission by the Bishop to change the name of the church to Conquerors of Faith, and additional ministries were birthed such as the Conquerors TV Broadcast and Little Conquerors Daycare. As growth continues the Lord further inspired Pastor Sam. In the late 2010 Pastor Sam was led of the Lord to transition the church to a town both of Detroit and Clinton Township Michigan. Having minimal funds, God again demonstrates his awesome power :the new Conquerors Church lands its new leased 4000 square foot facility in a Target strip mall. This move would prove to be of God as the Church grows tremendously reaching almost 500 members! Three (3) Sunday services were innitiated to accommodate the growth. Growth continued which led Conquerors to begin worshipping in the AMC theatre. Unfortunately in 2017, being outbided Conquerors Church was forced to move and landed in the 5200 square foot facility in Roseville Michigan near Sam’s Club.
Yet God’s hand was with the church, as Conquerors is reestablished as the hub of the community. During the height of COVID Conquerors was featured on Fox 2 news for giving away 1000s of hand crafted masks. Featured again in several media outlets, Conquerors gives away over 1200 fresh vegetable bags during the Covid food crisis. In 2021, Conquerors expands and established Little Conquerors Educational Center. From there the State of Michigan Department of Education funded A GSRP program is birthed. It is apparent that throughout the church existence God has favored the church but the story has just unfolded on an even greater level. Conquerors has just secured the former 32,000 square foot Baker College campus facility as its new church site. With this move back to Clinton Township, this two-story facility will offer amazing opportunities to demonstrate glory, purpose, and mission of the Kingdom of God, Stay tuned as ministry most assuredly will expand.
